12 DAYS OF SHANMAS #8 | Blogging Goals for 2018

Blogging has become a huge part of my life this year and 2018 is no different. I definitely have a few blogging goals for 2018!

Blogging has become a huge part of my life this year and 2018 is no different. I definitely have a few blogging goals for 2018!

With ill mental health, comes the struggle of daily life. Let alone a hobby you actually enjoy. It's madness. 2017 was slightly difficult for me as I absolutely loved blogging this year and the response I have received has been incredible. However, when you're suffering from some real issues it can take its toll on you.

Suddenly no longer enjoying my favourite thing in the world, I was left stuck and unmotivated, convincing myself that no one cares about my blog.

I'm wrong. I know I am. And that's why I'm writing some blogging goals for you all to see. That way, I can't break them!

1. Schedule

Considering I work for a Digital Marketing Company, the fact I don't write my own content plans is ridiculous. I write them for clients every day and know they work wonders! No more excuses. From January, I will be creating a blogging schedule that I will try my very best to stick to. I want to upload regular content and it is important to do so for my readers.

2. Photography

Now that I have my Canon 750D I have no reason why I can't do a few blogger photoshoots. My photography has already improved massively since purchasing my camera but I could do so much better. Starting with more images of myself - This sounds vain but it is pretty rare you'll find a picture of me on here where I'm writing a mental health related post. From January, I will post more decent pictures!

3. Interaction

I have made so many amazing, incredible and just awesome friends through blogging and social media. Even best friends. However, it can be frustrating to try and keep up with everyone's blog. I often remind myself  'Oh, I must check out so and so's blog post.' and I will almost always forget! And even if I do read it, I'll forget to leave a comment. Interaction is so important not only to promote your own blog but if you truly care about someone or their post or opinion then let them know. From January, I'm going to make sure I show my appreciation for others writing.

4. Be proud

My counsellor this year told me I should be so proud of my efforts with this blog. In fact, so many people tell me this. I am proud, I just never tell myself that. But I should. It's important to give yourself a pat on the back for your hard work! I have really helped some people this year and I should feel great about it. From January, I am going to make sure I recognise my efforts.

What are your blogging goals for 2018?

Happy Shanmas Day 8!

xoxo
