12 DAYS OF SHANMAS #3 | Christmas Makeup Look

Makeup is the best way to express yourself. And Christmas involves gold, glitter and glamour...

There is nothing I love more than winter makeup! Although my skin becomes paler, (God bless you fake tan) lipstick becomes darker and we can truly enjoy slapping excessive amounts of glitter on our faces without looking like a total loon.

This makeup look is surprisingly less 'in your face' than my usual glam. I don't know, I'm kind of digging a more 'natural' look recently. And yes, I know this is still super glamorous for others! In my eyes, I have definitely toned it down...

Eyes and Brows

- Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette
- Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
- NYX Eyeliner
- Ardell Glamour 113 lashes (My go-to falsies!)
- Revolution Brow Palette
- Rimmel Brow Pencil
- Benefit Gimme Brow

I'm still super obsessed with the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette and I can't wait to get the next one for Christmas! For this eye look, I used the shade 24k on the lid and a mix of milk chocolate, semi-sweet and cherry cordial in my crease and underneath the eye from the Too Faced chocolate bar palette. I've fallen in love with this makeup and wear it often on a night out in the winter!

Face

- Maybelline FitMe Foundation Shade 120 (With a tan!)
- Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Shade Pearl
- LA Girl Pro Concealer
- Soleil Tan de Chanel
- Koko x Kylie Jenner Face Palette
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kit
- Kylighter Shade Strawberry Shortcake
- Maybelline Loose Powder
- Too Faced Sweethearts Blush Shade Peach Beach
- Mac Lip Liner Shade Soar
- Mac Matte Lipstick Shade Mehr

I find my skin looks so much better with a tan, the darker foundation gives me a healthy glow and is the perfect companion for my darker lipstick choice. Recently I have preferred to apply less foundation with more concealer as this will prevent the face from getting cakey as the day progresses.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, especially when it comes to experimenting with different makeup. As long as you have a glitter and a red lip, you can't go wrong!

What is your go-to Christmas makeup look?

xoxo
