March - 2017 Monthly Faves

Spring is here!

The sun is finally making a daily appearance, flowers are blooming, and everyone has a smile on their face. Even the air is that little bit clearer. I love Spring time so much. The sunshine puts me in such a fabulous mood no matter how down I'm feeling. Summer is just around the corner!

Here are just a few of my March favourites:

Beauty

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

I adore this foundation - the coverage is excellent, and it doesn't feel like you've painted your skin. I find it so hard to find the perfect shade for my pale skin, and this looks great with or without fake tan. It mixes well with my other foundations and I will absolutely re-purchase.

Zoeva Graphic Eyes in Opulence

I was really unsure on how I would feel about this eyeliner. Red really wasn't my colour until I wore it for my Birthday night out. I am now OBSESSED with red eyeshadows and eyeliners as they bring out the green in my eyes so well. I wanna be the lady in red forever.

Kylighters

Despite having to pay a disgusting customs charge, I can't help but adore Kylie Cosmetics. I can promise that it isn't just because it's Kylie Jenners brand. I love the products in general, and I can't wait for whats to come. Although I do wish she'd bring her prices down and sort her customer services out!

I managed to get my hands on three shades: Cotton Candy Cream, Strawberry Shortcake and Salted Caramel. Although the pigment isn't as strong as she made it out to be, a bit of fix plus will do the trick. My highlight is poppin'

Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade

This product has such a good formula! Creamy and blendable. I love it, and it makes my brows look so slick and defined. My only issue is the shade I chose (my fault) is slightly too dark... but I can work with it!

Books

Anne Franks Diary

I sobbed and sobbed watching Anne Frank: The Whole story. Knowing the movie is true to real life breaks my heart. How can people be so cruel and inhumane? I'll never understand Hitler's actions but watching things like this makes me feel so appreciative of my own life. I just wish that girl was given a chance in life. She was truly intelligent and incredible.

After watching the movie, I decided I must finally read the diary. I'm incredibly surprised at how similar mine and Anne's writing styles are. The way she describes things is exactly how I have. I feel honoured to share something with someone so wonderfully talented. I recommend this book to anyone, it will open your eyes.

Electronics

HP Sprocket

I love this little device! I own a Polaroid printer (as well as the camera itself) and having pictures around my room and house really makes it feel like home. I got the HP Sprocket for my birthday, and it is just as cute as the Fujifilm printer. Even better: you can keep the prints as pictures or peel them back, and they'll become stickers. So cute!

iPad

I've had a few iPads in my time. However, they would usually end up sold or unused, so God knows why I thought it was a good idea to buy an iPad so randomly at the beginning of the month! Ooops. Luckily enough I have used it every day without fail. It's so handy and I love it for watching Netflix or even writing some of my book. Yay - a good investment I think.

TV

Riverdale

I kid you not, Riverdale is the next Pretty Little Liars! I started watching it a few Sundays back, and I am obsessed.

Riverdale is an American teen drama television series based on the characters by Archie Comics. The show features an ensemble cast based on the characters from the comics including Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones.

Set in the present day, "Riverdale" is a surprising and subversive take on Archie and friends, exploring the surrealism of small town life - the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade. Let's just say the show begins with murder...

Prison Break

I feel like this is going to be included in every favourite this year, at least for the next two months. What more can I say? I love it. I am so so excited for the new series in April, and I will absolutely still love it for the month after. Such a cleverly written show!

That's it for March. I'm off to watch Riverdale on my new iPad,

xoxo
