Rainy Days Pamper Routine

This pamper routine isn't for everyone, you may put your own twist on things with other products, this is just how I do it.

Okay, so it's July, the sun should be shining and we should absolutely be re-introducing sandals into our wardrobes.

It's (pardon my french) pissing it down outside. I should be outside in a pub garden drinking one too many cocktails. Instead, I am sat in bed in my PJs at 5pm! I have to admit, I do love listening to a storm whilst in the comfort of my duvet, but there isn't much to do to pass the time.

On an evening like this, I love spending a few hours pampering. I would turn every evening into a spa session if I could! But I think making an evening of it weekly is much more special.

Before I begin, I prefer to take all of my makeup off with a baby wipe before showering. Whilst I'm doing so, I'll let the bath run with lots of warm water (bliss!)

I love using any bubble bath, but today I'm trying out Zoella's new 'Sweet Inspirations' Bath latte, which smells absolutely phenomenal!

I'm going all out and also using the Zoella 'Sugar Dip' bath salts and 'Le Fizz' fizz bar. All of Zoella's products are in my good books, the packaging is gorgeous and the scents of all three ranges are fab.

I like to spend at least half an hour in the bath, and when I have the time, like tonight, I'll put on a face mask whilst I'm bathing. I'm using my holy grail 'Tea Tree Facemask' by The Body Shop.

Whilst I have the face mask on I like to use the 'Mojito Body Scrub' also by The Body Shop, to get rid of any dry skin. It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth! It's a great product to use before applying fake tan.

I'll also wash and condition my hair with any shampoo or conditioner we have in the house, I'm not fussy! I'll eventually remove myself from the bath and head back to my room, ready to smother myself in one of my many body butters...

Today I'm using the body cream by Ted Baker, and I will apply this all over my arms, legs, and stomach. After being in a hot bath for so long, I spray my Vitamin E face mist by The Body Shop to refresh my skin. I'll continue with my evening skincare routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising (watch this space) and chose a fresh new colour to paint my nails.

Keeping with the YouTuber theme, I've chosen for Tanya burr's 'Frosting Cupcakes' nail polish and 'Cha Cha Cha' by Next for my ring finger.

Tanya Burr's nail polish range has some beautiful shades and I'm so excited to try her matte collection! Before I go ahead and paint my nails I like to use Tanya's nail kit to buff and file.

A pamper evening is not complete without some comfy PJ's. I'm well known for sporting a pair of matching pyjamas and this evening I'm wearing a baggy t-shirt from Primark's awesome PJ line, with adorable matching slippers!

How cute?!

I'm off to light a few candles and read Pride and Prejudice. Happy Pampering!
